The Shqip Arifi criticises Albanian governments for the situation of Albanians in the Valley.

Through a long Facebook text, Arifi says the government of Serbia is continuing to place permanent stones in the north.

According to him, only last year, the Serbian government had planned 89m euros in budgets, investments in Serb majority municipalities in Kosovo.

While, it says calls for the support of citizens of the Presevo Valley have run into deaf ears in Albania and Kosovo.

As Serbs in Kosovo improve the conditions, Arifi says the Serbian government is failing the rights of citizens of the Presevo Valley.

Full Posting:

Serbia's “Government is continuing to place permanent stones in North Mitrovica and through the so-called “Zyra for Kosovo”, this time at a high educational level, that's a university.
Last year alone, the Serbian Government has planned about 89m euros of the Kosovo budget investment in the Republic of Kosovo, respectively, under the pretext for supporting and functioning institutions and organisations on Kosovo territory.
In fact, with such methods the Serbian government keeps alive parallel structures in the Republic of Kosovo that respond exclusively to Belgrade.
On the other hand, calls for support from the Presevo Valley in the last two decades addressed official authorities in Albania and Kosovo during countless discussions and meetings for raising the Albanian issue in this province have not had practical success, and as such, we can say they have failed.
Distincting the focus on the real problems of the Presevo Valley is one of the reasons why promises have been made so far and issues remain on paper.
To understand the underlying problem, I am presenting an example based on the high-profile figures that the Serbian Government invested in 2020 in the Republic of Kosovo, where
the amount of Pristina and official Tirana's joint investment in the past 20 years for Albanians in the Presevo Valley does not amount to 1% of Serbia's investments last year.

This clearly crystallizes the priority of governance in question.

Serbia's government yesterday has experienced its first 20-year wish in Mitrovica, since we've had 20 years since among the many needs we require from Albania and Kosovo establishing a university.
Moreover, even Serbian state authorities have requested the construction of a hospital for health services for Albanians in the Presevo Valley, but, as you may know, requirements for basic needs have never been ignored. So this abusive Serbian state has developed a diabolic approach where it further improves conditions for Serb minorities in the Republic of Kosovo, while at the same time unable to realise the individual and collective rights of Albanians in the Presevo Valley, leaving us in the face of basic needs in continuation.

We are also awaiting the functioning of the National Solidarity Fund, at least one major step that promises to improve the vital spheres of Albanians in the Presevo Valley, which would witness to any government that Albanians in the Valley, are not alone.

It's been more than three years already. How many more years waiting?
