In response, the embassy stresses that it remains committed to fighting corruption.

“Midis the executive order of President Biden, proclaimed by US Secretary of State Blinken, Ambassador Kim's statements before the media last week and its editorial this week, the US position is clear and unchanged:

Fighting corruption is a fundamental interest of national security in the United States and we will use all the instruments we have available to deal with corruption and impunity”, It says in response.

Sali Berisha announced today that his French lawyer has filed a libel indictment at the French court, as well as invited him to submit evidence he has against him.

Berisha said Kim's position in the DP was inappropriate, calling it the most scandalous in the 30 years left behind for a foreign diplomat in Albania.
