Korca Mayor's invitation to Serbian singer Goran Bregovic at the Korca festival has sparked numerous reactions in Kosovo and Albania. Even to challenge the Serbian singer's performance in Korca, initiatives have been undertaken to boycott the festival there.
But there are those who do not think the same way.
Albanian writer Lis Beloca says he has done much research about Bregovic's positions for Albanians, but that he has found nothing against Albanians to say Bregovic, Periscopi follows.
I investigated dozens of newspapers last night and today -- Albanians, Serbs, Bosniaks and Croats. I found nothing but the fact that I mentioned it and that he was the first in the former Yugoslavia, who had sung in Albanian a rock-cat! ”, wrote Bejoca.
This is his full handwriting:
I found no thought against Albanians from Bregovic!
It was an emotional, influential, unjust, and unreasonable reaction that could not be justified.
In 1961 James Stoner said that groups make radical decisions. We're looking for a decision like this!
By the early 1970s, in psychology, this popular belief, where I slipped, is known as Janis' subx1> (Ironing Yiannis, University of Yales)
Group thinking of secret services has also affected the attack on Iraq! They believed Iraq had nuclear weapons!
Why are we hating Goran Bregovic?
He says roughly this in an interview: I have the Croatian Catholic father, the Serbian Orthodox mother, the Muslim wife. On which side to line up, against whom to shoot, (the weapon thought)? Against mother, father, or wife? So I remain neutral!
I researched dozens of newspapers last night and today -- Albanians, Serbs, Bosniaks and Croats. I found nothing but the fact that I mentioned it and that he was the first in the former Yugoslavia, who had sung in Albanian a rock-cat!
Perhaps we are hating him for singing Serbian? If that is the case, then we should know that with the language we have had no problems but with the state of Serbia. Not with the people of Serbia, but only with the Serbian state! Montenegrins speak that language too!
The Albanian newspaper does not quote any source that would incriminate it.
This thought of mine remains until evidence of his anti-Albanian stand is brought!
I apologize once again, and I apologize to my friends who had other opinions, such as Edmund Shalvar, Fahri Musliu, etc. And I feel sorry for the insulin and baseless accusations against him!
According to what I read, he deserves respect and gratitude, not contempt and public nail!
