According to CNN, for humanitarian reasons Ghan and his family have been sheltered in the United Arab Emirates.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Arab Emirates International Co-operation may confirm that the United Arab Emirates have welcomed President Ashraf Ghan and his family in the country for humanitarian reasons,” said by the United Arab Emirates MP for CNN.
