Currently there are 9 hot spots in Kosovo

Emergency Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that in recent 24 hours, the situation on the ground is presented as managed by operational fire and rescue facilities at all [...]
The situation is relatively stabilised thanks to commitment 24/7 from professional fire and rescue units, capacity and support from F. SC, KK, KFOR from air, forest guards and national parks, volunteers and the private sector at more than 473 fires in all of the country's territory in the past 7 days, and more than 600 interventions in the fires of intensity and various field and mountain sizes.
Currently there are nine active sites where, in addition to Rugova's mountain area, the danger is posed to the municipality of Suhareka and Prizren with new hot spots, the communiques are said.
The number of fires in all of the country's territory is on the decline, while a serious threat still remains the fire spread from July 29th 2021 at the Bismunian National Park and Nemunja Station Staffak, where interventions are continuing unabated from all local capacity, but weather circumstances and unsuitable heavy terrain have been difficult, and it has not rarely managed to react from land.
As a result, KFOR's Emergency Management Agency (AME) in co-ordination with the Ministry of Internal Affairs Operational Centre has requested air support and, as a result, co-operation has been made available for air support to two helicopters for response possible for the third. The situation in Nemuna National Park is currently heavy because of strong winds that enable land-powered intervention.
As a result of the response of professional fire and rescue units (NJPZSH) has been reported on some body injuries to firefighters, but fortunately not at risk for life.
The Emergency Management Agency appeals to all Kosovo citizens for increased care at temperatures hikes, to avoid lighting fires, and to report fires to the unique emergency number 112 free of charge.
