Over 60% of vaccinated gastronomies await new measures

The Kosovo government held meetings Wednesday morning, but nothing was discussed about new measures which have been warned. Among the measures were mentioned, the extension of working hours for gastronomics and nightclubs, as well as restrictions on independent citizens. Access to these locals from August 20th was warned [...]
As it becomes known, the identification of vaccinated citizens is expected to be done through QR Code. These measures have been welcomed by the Oda of the Hotel and Tourism and the Kosovo Gastronomous Association, which promises they are doing their best so that whenever they are officially respected and prevent a series of economic closures.
With the entry into force of these warned measures, nightclubs will be able to operate across 11 o'clock, exactly until 3: 00 p.m., while working hours will be extended to gastronomy bars.
Visar Demolli, executive director at the Hotel and Tourism Oda, shows that total vaculation of staff working in the gastronomy sector is also pre-represented.
He says these measures have also been supported by them, with the sole aim of avoiding another closure.
There must be at least the first dose of vaccine. It's so easy and we've appealed. We're running a awareness campaign that should have them because of health and because of the possibility of serial re-run in September or October. Second, it is also for customers, who attend restaurants, bars, discotheques, nightclubs, and wedding halls from August 20th should also have the first dose of vaccine to enter these facilities. The third is that we agreed for nightclubs to extend our schedule from 11:00 to 3: 00 p.m. after midnight”, Demoll said.
So far, Demolli points out there are over 60 per cent of the gastronomy sector staff vaccinated, until he points out that a repeat recount would be fatal for them.
“Mbi 63 per cent of the staff has been vaccinated ... we are hoping that very soon the first doses will be performed, that we have made our own visits and that we are making a awareness of why the vaccine should take place. In short, our goal is no longer to have a serial re-run decision that it would be fatal for us, we were backed up on the wall that we couldn't afford to exit”, he points out.
These measures have also been welcomed by the Kosovo Gastronomous Association, where representatives from this association, Arrian Vranica, argue that they have agreed that only the vaccine could eliminate the closure option following the rise of new cases with COVID-19.
As for verification of vaccinated citizens attending gastronomial establishments, Vranica says each local should assign a responsible one to carry out this verification.
“There have been several different variants of measures that could be applied and wanting to avoid an eventual conclusion we have agreed that the vaccine is the only solution, so that we can get out of this situation with as little consequences as to public health as to economic health. It may not have been easier as a compromise to deal with these measures, because we have a relatively short time to enable the operation of the entire gastronomy sector and their vaccine equipment... There has been a measure which, among all variants, has been the best and most appropriate option for the functioning of the economy in general”, Vranica says.
Since recent days have increased the number of new cases with COVIDD-19, and especially increased cases of version Delta, taking these measures according to infection, Ilir Tolaj, is the only way to curb population infection.
It draws attention that there is no distance in nightclubs and should avoid long stays in a closed environment of many at the same time.
“What the authorities had been able to do in this case to prevent the massive spread of the Delta version perhaps to be limited to countries where thousands of people are gathering for a long time in closed environments such as nightclubs, which are probably the main place where these infections are now spreading. On the other hand, also limit the number at the locals, the cafe where it is seen to be free of any kind of restriction or distance. If these few actions were to take place then I think that they would therefore slow down the distribution of the delta version and give time to vaccinate to do their job”, the potential Tolaj.
During the last 24 hours in Kosovo, 562 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded, where two cases of death have been recorded.
