In the official announcement, state police in Albania said that at the entry of the Border Crossing Point Morina, Border Police services, as a result of increased measures and exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, have banned internationally declared citizen Agron Rehfeldt.
During the processing and verification of data into the system, this citizen has resulted in an international search after Interpol Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, has issued an arrest warrant for criminal work “Grabbity with weapons”.
At the conclusion of the investigative actions, crime investigation specialists at the Kukes Police issued the pro-visual arrest of this citizen, aimed at his extradition to the United Arab Emirates.
In 2019, the Kosovo Court of Appeals faced the prosecution's request to sentence the accused to jail for theft, Agron Rehfeldt.
The trial said that the court has convicted the accused, Agron Rehfeldt, because he, with the intention of misappropriating foreign items in the United Arab Emirates, has broken a jewelry store, thus stealing an estimated two kilograms of gold jewelry.
It is more precisely explained that Rehfeldt, after his preliminary agreement with Riyad Nishevci, dated 05.07.2011, after midnight, first managed to get onto the upper floor and then to the ground floor of the jewelry store, which, after taking it, buried elsewhere, then fled to Kosovo. At the end of the session, judges' college chairman, Gani Zabel, announced the parties that the decision will be accepted in written form within the legal deadlines.
The Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor's application hearing to those accused of robbery, Agron Rehfeldt, was held on August 2nd, 2019. The prosecution called two years ago for accused Rehfeldt to be appointed prison sentences to be effective. The Constitutional Court in Pristina, dated 30.04.2019, after the initial review, had convicted the accused of gold theft in Dubai and had sentenced him to prison for a year, a sentence that would not be executed if the accused did not repeat further criminal acts within the verifiable period of 2 years.
This sentence had come as a result of the conviction of the accused and the Court of First Stair had considered that the prison sentence on bail was sufficient to achieve his goal. In contrast, Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor, through a complaint directed by Appeals, has demanded that the conviction assigned by the First Scale be replaced with prison sentences for effective imprisonment, as the conditional sentence does not suit the degree of social risk of the work done.
