Valmir Elesi, CEC spokesperson for Indexline, has said that by 18 August, all Kosovo citizens can rightly vote outside the Republic of Kosovo for registration to vote via mail.

Also, those/those who do not have the citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo, but who have the right to be citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, under the Law on Citizenship, can apply”, Elez told IndexOnline.
He has indicated that by yesterday, August 3rd, over 2,000 applications have been accepted to register as voters outside Kosovo, while a thousand and 960 sos have been accepted.
“According to data from the voting service, by August 3rd, 2,101 applications have been accepted to register as voters outside Kosovo, of which 1,960 have been approved, while another 141 have not met judicial criteria. Even for these cases, the voter service has announced the documents it needs to send so that the voter registration requirement is approved outside Kosovo”, Elez said.
He has further clarified that all applicants meeting the legal criteria for enrolling as voters abroad can vote during the period of voting via mail, which begins on September 15th, while balloting should be accepted by the CEC until October 15th 2021.
