The 18-year-old Ferizaj murder case that rocked Kosovo, what is known so far?

After doctors at the hospital have ascertained the victim's death, Kosovo Police have started collecting information on the search for two people suspected of having sent the victim to the hospital.

Police arrived during yesterday to secure footage from security cameras in the hospital, where they saw two suspected people and also cars they brought the girl to the hospital with.

The first suspect, Arben Sejdiu, was arrested yesterday, while the other suspect, Dardan Krivaqa, continues to be on the run.

The uncle of the 18-year-old victim, Marigona Osmani, has claimed to the media that the victim has been co-existing with the fugitive suspect and receiving the blessing from the victim's family for their marriage.

He has claimed that the victim's family has been aware that their daughter's husband has a problem with the past, but that they have felt that the cause of their love will have no problems, saying that the couple themselves are having a good time.

The chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Ferizaj, Shukri Jashari, at a media conference has stated that the 18-year-old assassination suspect, who is on the run, is also suspected of a large number of earlier criminal acts.

Jashar has said the fugitive will be arrested very quickly on the part of the police, while having announced that there are also certain items within the suspect's residence.

To suspect Arber Sejdiu, the detention measure has already been imposed, because it is suspected of co-ordinating the “heavy murder” by Article 173 paragraph 1 under paragraph 1.4 and 1.8 with Article 31 of the Republic of Kosovo's Penal Code.

So far it has been reported that the other suspect, Arben Sejdiu, who is in custody, has not stated anything about the 18-year-old death case, but has said he has only heard some shouting.
