The head of the Skyeraj municipality, Bekim Jashari, has announced that it will compensate financially for the damage caused by farm rainfall Saturday in this region.

Jashari, through a post at Fawcebook, has said that the municipality has formed a commission to verify the damage caused by the rainfall in Skenderaj, while urging citizens to apply in the municipality for damages.

“As municipal governance we have formed the commission to verify damage caused by natural disasters, so I ask you to apply to our municipality in the next week for compensation, which after the municipal commission assessment will be forwarded to the Ministry of Agriculture for compensation”, he wrote.

It has also published photographs of the damage caused by rainfall and hail on planted lands.

Full Posting:

Dear citizens,

Rainfalls and hail in some villages in our municipality today have unfortunately caused much damage to our farmers' agricultural cultures.

As municipal government we have the commission to verify damage caused by natural disasters, so I ask you to apply in our municipality for compensation in the next week, which after the municipal commission assessment will be forwarded to the Ministry of Agriculture for compensation.

Dear farmers, such harm should not stop you in your excellent work of cultivating seedlings and other agricultural cultures.

As mayor of the municipality, I will continue to be close to you in supporting the development of your family businesses.

Together!
