The unannounced Americans withdrew their soldiers during the night and saw good opportunity for robbers who destroyed several buildings before being arrested by Afghan forces.
The evacuation of troops took place after nearly 20 years of staying in its war era to expel the Taliban and prosecute al-Qaeda authors who carried out the 11 September terrorist attacks in New York, Klan Kosova reports.
However, the airspace was handed over to the Afghan National Security and Protection Force in its entirety, on condition of silence as they were not authorised to issue information to the media.
The withdrawal from Bagram Airfield of 2,500 American troops took place months before President Joe Biden's promise that they would leave on September 11th.
Even most NATO soldiers have already been silent since this week.
However, Turkish and American soldiers still defend the airport under the determined support, which is the military mission being closed.
The US will also have about 650 troops in Afghanistan to protect its embassy located in the capital.
The US and NATO's departure comes as Taliban rebels take steps in some parts of the country, regaining control of many areas from Afghan security forces.
