Vuciq respects Washington's Jerusalem Embassy Agreement

Today it expires Serbia's deadline for the Embassy's shift to Jerusalem, which was reached in Washington on 4 September. And Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has hinted he will not respect the Washington Agreement, in which he has pledged the shift of Serbia's Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. [...]
We had agreements and I had conversations with the prime minister of Israel, I clearly told him that I don't sign a joint document with Albanians and Americans, but only with Americans, and that had to do with Israeli reports with us”, Vuciq said.
The head of the Serbian state has said Israel can seek something like that from Serbia, since it has recognised the independence of the Republic of Kosovo.
“Do not worry about Serbia's position. We will act in accordance with international law, but also with Serbia's interest, and these interests have changed since Israel has recognised Kosovo's independence. We respect our friendship with Israel, but we respect ourselves. You can tell us that we have recognised the independence of a part of your territory, and you continue because you are under pressure from those who have pressured us, do the same”, Vuciq said, writes RTV.
In the end, Vuciq has said Serbia is an independent state and will operate in Serbia's interest.
