President Vjosa Osmani, in support of the Constitution, has made the decision that Monday, July 26th 2021, should be declared a day of mourning, state in honour of Kosovo citizens who suffered tragic loss of life in a traffic accident in Croatia.
The cause of this tragic event, Osman has interrupted his visit to Japan and will now travel to Kosovo, the media communiqué says.
The accident caused in the early hours of yesterday has killed 10 people, while 45 others have been injured, eight of them in serious condition.
Kosovo's license bus was launched from Frankfurt, Germany, to Kosovo, but has been hit in Croatia.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti has gone to Croatia to visit the injured countrymen who are receiving medical treatment at Slavonski Brodi Hospital.
Along with the prime minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore Donika Grovalla, Minister of Internal Affairs Jedal Svecla, Health Minister Arben Vitita and Kosovo Presidentials' Chief of Staff Blerim Vela.
While, Croatian Civil Protection chief Damir Trut and Health Minister Willi Berosh have been at the scene yesterday of the tragic event.
