But for scientists it may be disturbing that most people who lost their lives because of the Delta (B.1.617.2) variant were vaccinated against Ovidius.
Does this mean that vaccines are not effective?
The effect of the vaccine is different according to age and vaccines. The vaccines are not perfect. The PHE has stressed that double dose vaccine is 94% effective against hospitalization due to the Delta version.
But the risk of death by David-19 depends more on age: by half, any gap between six and seven years of age. That means that someone who is 80 years old who is completely vaccinated is equally endangered as 50 years old who has not been vaccinated against Ovid.
According to the PHE report, also nearly a third of the deaths from the Delta variant are unexplored persons over 50, which may be surprising in view of the vaccine campaign; for example, according to the OpenSAFELY more than 93% between the age of 65-69 have been vaccinated against Codí-19.
But there are lower rates in deprived areas and for some ethnicity and communities that cannot be vaccinated. This has increased the number of victims. The vaccine campaign and efficiency are important data on the evaluation of vaccine programmes.
It would be better to assess analysis by analysts than data from social media.
