Video footage shows numerous MPs attending and bearing similar signs. This comes as the Italian government, seeking to control the increase in coronavirus cases, announced Thursday that by next month people must present evidence of immunity to enter a variety of services and leisure activities.
The so-called “Gren pas” is a digital certificate or paper showing if someone has received at least one blow, has been tested negative or recently cured by COVID-19.
As of August 6th, permission will be required to go to gyms, pools, sports stadiums, museums, spas, casinos and cinemas. Food at interior restaurants also requires a passage.
Some 48.2 percent of Italians have been completely vaccinated, and 14.1 percent are awaiting second doses, according to the latest data. Studies show that double vaccines offer strong protection from Option Delta, while initial doses offer only limited coverage.
