Ukshin's son Hoti ready to face Serbia: Unemployed to Be a Cost for Final Deal

According to him, the international factor must put more pressure on Serbia to open archives and show the location for 1632 missing persons and to impose justice.

Andin Hoti, in a conversation with Kosova Prees, says these two appointments are not viewed as a position of work, but a moral obligation to do more towards dawning the fate of missing persons.

“I have taken as a moral and national obligation that I feel like I make a contribution, to give my best to the dawning of missing persons' fate, not to the fact that my father is considered missing, but to the fact that Kosovo still has a grave wound that I carry with me for 22 years now, and that still 1632 families suffer and have had an open wound on this issue, so I say because I have a personal case, yet every one of these families wakes up from sleep hope we may not have an announcement today, a news of what has happened with the family's fate that has been seized by the last war in Kosovo, Mahx> says.

Hoti stressed the need for increased pressure from the international factor on the Serbian side, since, as he says, Serbia is the only address for missing persons.

We need a lot of international support and pressure. In this case, the only address for missing persons is Serbia, the Government of Serbia, because we know that the genocide that has occurred in Kosovo has made Serbia's then government and the only address for whitewashing the fate of those persons is the government of Serbia, but we will also as a delegation try to co-operate with the panel of counterparts we have in Serbia, their government commission for missing persons, so that Serbia, due to international pressure, which we are hoping to increase, open the recent war archives in Kosovo, he says.

The extraction of the fate of missing persons, Hoti says it is a human issue and should be treated as such, but according to him, for Serbia continues to be political, so adds that pressure from the international factor remains the only way Serbia will be convinced of opening archives.

Hoti still does not know when he will have his first meeting with the Serb side, but says he will overcome the emotional aspect, and the priority will be to soften the wounds of any family member who is still waiting to hear news of his missing boyfriends.

“How will it be my confrontation with the Serb side in view of that, I'm not saying directly that it is that it is involved, but given that they represent something that my parent and 1632 other people in Kosovo have lost, but for me, and I think that for all citizens of Kosovo, the primary, the primary interest, is to whitewash the fate of missing persons, after professional experience, I think and I'm convinced that in an emotional way I can overcome it, and the emotional aspect that I can have as my own help to be face-opened because I am the front-to-face, the Serb victims, we are the victims of this, and the persons of justice, and the 1632x, he says.

Ukshin Hoti's son says he has received the support of families of missing persons and vows to be their voice at every meeting.

He estimates that the issue of missing persons should be the top priority of Kosovo institutions, without resolving which he says should not happen the final agreement with Serbia.

Kosovo's <x0) institutions are not doing zero work, but are not doing enough work in order to increase pressure on the international factor. As far as I have seen, the last two meetings that have been in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue in Brussels, both of which has been the priority of the missing, that's what I've asked for in 2017 when I was an MP, that the issue of the missing in the Kosovo dialogue- Serbia is not only a priority, but a condition for concluding a Kosovo-Serbia agreement. I do not consider and do not believe Kosovo's final agreement with Serbia should occur without resolving the fate of missing persons in Kosovo”, says Hoti.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has named the government's Commission for Undiscovered Persons and head of the Kosovo delegation for talks on the issue of missing persons within the working group for missing persons.
