By economic connoisseurs, this figure is considered welcome and favorable to the state ark. However, according to economics professor Mustaf Kadriaj, the comparison with last year is not fair, given that the first six months marked the peak of the pandemic.

Kadriaj says that if such figures are compared to 2019, it is expected that the country has emerged from a pandemic situation and has fragile economies.

While the other economy professor, Remzi Ismajli, says that figure is due to the release of measures. In the first quarter of 2020, Kosovo Customs had over 540m euros in revenues, while 2019 had about 100 million more inflows.
