Training Teachers in Programs PODIUM, PONDER and U PSHIFT

IPKO Foundation in co-operation with the UNICEF Office in Kosovo and the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and innovation. [IPKO] MA SHTI has successfully begun training for professional development of high school teachers in the municipality of Gjilan and Lipjan.
The first phase of this project included two-day training in programmes, such as:
The methodology of social access [ PODIUM]
Writing and Critical Media Reading. [ Footnote] PANDER]
Socially influential entrepreneurs [ U n PSHIFT]
The treatments are conducted with high school teachers in Gjilan, “Dr. Asllan Elezi” and “Jave Ahmeti”, as well as Lipjan in the schools “Ulpiana” and “Adem Glavica”. From the data of two municipalities, notes the largest participation of women teaching in training. In the municipality of Gjilan, out of 44 participants, 24 were women and 20 men. While in the Lipjan municipality, out of 93 participating teachers, 51 were women and 42 men.
Training programs are linked to four aspects of the curriculum: “Society and environment”, “Nature sciences” and “Life and work. ”
The purpose of this training is for these teachers to offer students quality and practical lessons, through the introduction of U software. PSHIFT, PODIUM and PONDER in curriculum. This will result in higher professional preparation of students who will possess the skills required in the labour market.
Participants of the worker's methodology for social accommodation [ PODIUM had the opportunity to develop their knowledge of the community's welfare aspirations. This was achieved through elaborate training modules, regarding the identification of community problems and needs, the drafting of the assembly framework, appropriation tactics and budget management. At the end of the training, the teachers prepared and presented various campaigns, which they had come up with.
While, in the programme on writing and critical media reading [ PONDER], teachers adopted four main modules. The content of these modules was focused on using critical writing-read media thinking, media diversity, positioning and experience, reading photos, and empowering media reading through writing. Training teachers in this program was marked by preparing the drawing for article, discussing further steps, and assessing training.
As for the program “Social-influencitable replaceer” [ U n PSHIFT], educators were trained in four stages, starting with understanding (the focus of the problem and 5 Why, then with design, development, testing and realisation of the challenge. At the end of the programme, teachers make the preparation and presentation of the campaign regarding their innovative ideas.
By the end of April 2022, trained teachers will be willing to help and contribute to the development of creative ideas of their students, with particular emphasis on acquiring the key skills required in the century. 21.
Educators' treatments are organised and implemented by IPKO Foundation in the Gjilan and Lipjan municipalities, while supported by the UNICEF Office in Kosovo and the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and innovation. [ August.
