Tragedy in Croatia, Italy Embassy Comforts Kosovo's People

Our deepest suggestions to the people of Kosovo for the tragic bus accident that took place this morning in Croatia. Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the victims, while we want quick recovery of the injured”, said a Facebook post.

Otherwise, Sunday morning there has been a traffic accident in Croatia, where a bus from Kosovo is involved. Croatian media report 10 dead and dozens injured. The first doubts are that for a moment the bus driver was asleep.

While from the company “Deva Tours” whose bus has been crashed has told Kosovas that the accident occurred, but have said they have no accurate information regarding the number of dead and injured.

By contrast, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has announced Monday days of state mourning in honour of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, who have suffered a tragic loss in traffic accidents in the Republic of Croatia.

The cause of this tragic event, President Osmani has stopped visiting Japan and will travel to Kosovo tomorrow.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has already taken a trip to Croatia, along with some of the government ministers.
