The US President's administration, Joe Biden, has once again expressed commitment to promoting democratic values that support a sustainable international system of freedom, prosperity and peace.
The 2021 Congress report for Congress in accordance with Act 5 Section for the Prevention of Genocide and Recipients of Elie Wiesel from 2018<18x1>, delivered by the otherwise called US State Secretary of Congress, is mentioned by the Special Court as well as former President Hashim Thaci.
The US state reportedly supports Kosovo's Specialised Chambers, which have begun judging individuals, including former President Hashim Thaci, for crimes against humanity and war crimes.
The state backed the process of responsibility for charges of atrocities against citizens from the former Yugoslavia, Rwanda, Chad, Cambodia, Sierra Leone, Guatemala, Colombia and Central African Republic. The state facilitated the voluntary surrender of Dominic Onngween to the International Criminal Court, where he was sentenced to 25 years in May 2021 for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Uganda. The state has supported Kosovo's Specialised Chambers, which have begun judging individuals, including former President Hashim Thaci, for crimes against humanity and war crimes. The state has supported transitional justice processes in Colombia, including access to victims' participation. In April 2021, former FARC commanders announced they would accept the actual findings of Colombia's special jurisdiction for Peace and accept responsibility for war crimes and crimes charges against humanity.
