Lawyer Fehmie Gashi says Simmons' reporting shows that Kosovo has had to form local courts immediately after the war.
Mr. Simmons is late in his testimony. However, we would have to have further evidence to support his testimony. However, Simmons's testimony is light at the end of the tunnel in connection with possible manipulations that have been done with Kosovo society. Maybe even the political class hasn't shown enough professionalism in this direction, said lawyer Fehmie Gashi.
Tome Gashi, a lawyer in the case of “Drenica”, says the Simmons report is delayed. According to him, the defenders of The Hague must invite Simmons as witnesses to The Hague to testify to the injustices that have been committed.
“Simmons should invite prosecutors of suspects to The Hague, ranging from Mr. Thaci to Peter Shala to clarify the situations that have occurred in EULEX. Part of protected witnesses are able to do everything just to leave Kosovo and benefit material goods”.
In the case of “Klekka”, Fatmir Limaj had been acquitted of all charges, while in the case “Drenica”, there were effective prison sentences including Sylejman Selimi.
