Simmons: EULEX gave documents to Serbia, sledge to investigate crimes committed by Serbs in Kosovo

Former Judge Malcolm Simmons has shocked Kosovo's opinion with his reporting to the Kosovo Parliament's deputies for EULEX mission scandals and hard efforts to punish KLA soldiers. I discovered many war crimes documents given to Serbian prosecutors in 2014. These charges of crime [...]
I discovered many war crimes documents given to Serbian prosecutors in 2014. These charges of alleged crimes committed by persons of Serbian ethnicity during the war. These documents included information about these people but also personal data and details of witnesses of Albanian descent. These crimes have been committed in Kosovo against Kosovo residents from Serbs, many of whom were Kosovo citizens”, Simmons said.
He said the cases of crimes committed by Serbs in Kosovo the EU has wanted them not to be investigated at all, no matter what evidence they have.
Serbia's “Authorities in 10 years have condemned only one person, in a mission that has cost millions of euros”, Simmons said.
Simmons said the Special Court is the mechanism the European Union used as a solution to the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
And why shouldn't Serbs be charged in front of the Special Chambers? Why the EU thought the solution was for Serbian authorities to deal with war crimes cases on their own. They knew they had neither the capacity nor the will to do that”, Simmons said.
He indicated that the internationals lacked confidence in Kosovo courts. Stressing that the Special Court “was the mechanism the EU used with Serbia in Kosovo-Serbia dialogue”.
