Mariana Rajiq Deliq, citizen of Serbia, decided to share the message she was left with during her trip to Saranda.
So, in one of the most frequent questions of Serbian tourists if it's safe to go to Albania in a Serbian-registered car, she answered with a picture and a friendly message written in her car. Just when she was planning to return to her host location, when she arrived at the car, she noticed that an unknown “author of” had left her a message in kofano: “Thank you! ” and “Welcome” decorated with hearts.
This year, we are resting for the first time in Albania, we have been in Saranda for five days, and we have not had the slightest concern. The message originated on the beach of Paiira, which is located between Saranda and Ksamil”, Marijana told us. Among the first impressions of Marianne, the sea and the nature of this land were noticed.
The date is as clean as the beaches and roads, much cleaner than, say, in Greece. Beaches here in Saranda remember more of the Croatian coast, only pines are missing to have the same atmosphere. There are good and bad people everywhere, and we were lucky to meet only the good. Everything has been translated into Albanian for us by an Albanian from Kosovo who is staying at our hotel. We spend the evenings in his company and we talk about everything” and Marija added.
The message of the welcome written in the car showed that there is no room for hostility between our two peoples, and that although we don't speak the same language, this third part of love can be very useful to light days and show that being human means much, more than if we call ourselves Albanian or Serbian.
