Serbian analyst: We must admit that Kosovo is independent

Serbian analyst Dusan Janjiq, who lives in Belgrade, has conveyed developments about the Association of Serb Major Communities since it started with an initial agreement in Brussels, which culminated in the seven-point agreement for him in 2015. More than a deal, Janjaq has said that today, he sees a disagreement on both sides [...]
More than the agreement, Janjic has said that today, he sees a dispute on both sides in the dialogue.
“at the time, Serbia has insisted that there be only executive competencies, actually it has not insisted, but it has interpreted the text that AKS will have executive competence. In accordance with the agreement signed in 2015, it's off the ground when it's said to have executive competence. It's about, I'd say, the” dispute, he said inDoks.
Janjak says the Kosovo and Serbian sides have disagreements about the status of the Serb-run municipalities with the Serb majority.
According to him, both Kosovo and Serbia must change the constitution.
“In essence they are at odds over the status of the Serb- Majority Commission Association, whether it will be under Kosovo's constitutional system or not. What the current constitutional system, or youth, implies now is the question. And I think that's the main problem that was damaged by Kosovo Constitutional Court and politicians. That basically, if you're understanding the logical process of denormalisation and dialogue, there's no way that at the end of the process, you can change your Constitution. That is also true of Serbia. Serbia certainly has to change”, the Serbian analyst said.
He has declared that Kosovo is an independent state from Serbia, and to realise the agreement signed in Brussels, Janjic stresses that Serbia must change the constitution.
“If you are talking seriously (in dialogue), no movement made on Serbia's part in the Brussels dialogue is in line with Serbia's existing Constitution. Kosovo is an autonomous part, it's part of Serbia, but it's not really. The reality we know is that Kosovo is independent of Serbia”, he said.
