Russia's Emergency Ministry announced on Tuesday that an AN-26-type plane with 28 people has disappeared in the sky of the Kamchatka peninsula, at the eastern end of this country.
The plane, which was launched by regional capital, Petropavlovks Kamchatsky to the village of Palana, located in the northern part of the peninsula, lost contact with air traffic control during flight, said the ministry's announcement.
