The number of coronary infected people has increased in the past two days, while the Ministry of Health and the National Institute of Public Health consistently appeal to citizens to be vaccinated.
Currently, the total number of active cases in the country is 250.
In the last 24 hours, 13,867 doses of vaccines have been given. COVID-19, meanwhile, has been given 388.073 doses of vaccine in all Kosovo cities.
To date, 124,226 citizens have been vaccinated with the second dose.
MSH and ICHPK the other day have called on citizens to be vaccinated.
MS points out that the vaccine is the only way to protect from the option of COVID-19, which can spread more easily than other variants.
“COVID's Delta Delta-19 could spread more easily than other variants that circulate among people, thus increasing the number of cases, the rate of hospitalisation and death, especially among non-accinated individuals”, said the MS report.
The ministry has stressed that the data clearly shows that taking two doses of vaccination significantly reduces the risk of severe symptoms of sickness and death.
If you are over 18 years old, take advantage of the opportunity to vaccinate by enrolling at https://ekosova.rks-gov.net/to protect yourself and the most loved people”, the report says.
The IKSHPK has also invited citizens to be vaccinated. The institute stresses that vaculation is the best, cheaper and efficient method in fighting against COVID-19!
No vaccines currently in use in Kosovo contain living viruses that cause COVID-19. That means you can't get sick with COVID-19 from the vaccine. Some are reluctant to be vaccinated because they are afraid of the side effects that so far in Kosovo have been minimal, but the benefits of protection from COVID-19 are many times greater”, said the IKSHPK's call to vaccinate.
If we're not vaccinated, new cases can be increased by increasing hotspylizations, deaths, health system overloads, disability returns, mental health shocks, school, economics, culture, sports art and”.
