So Gashic declared himself to Radio Free Europe, but Kosovo Police said they could not confirm the news.
Kosovo Police spokesman in Gjakova Nusret Jurkaj confirmed to Radio Free Europe only that Gashiq has returned to the apartment Tuesday by Kline, where she visited her sister.
“Accompanied by police, she has arrived at the residence and a police guard is stationed in front of her” building, Jurkaj said, to add that, so far, there is no information that her apartment has been broken and looted.
However, Gashi said he reported the case to the police.
According to her, her personal belongings, food, security cameras and internet equipment are missing at the residence.
The hardest thing, according to her, is that the front door cannot be closed now and that she doesn't know how she will spend the night under these conditions.
“cannot be repaired at all”, Gashiq said.
In late June, Gashic has made an effort to change the apartment's external door and replace it with an armoured one, but police have not allowed him to do so, with the intent that he should obtain municipal permission for something like that.
In early July, the Gjakova municipality has filed charges against Gashi at the Constitutional Court in Gjakova, demanding that she cancel the contract to rent the “residence.
Gashic told Radio Free Europe that she does not intend to leave her residence in Gjakova.
Regarding the alleged robbery of her residence, the Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government reacted.
The “undoubtedly, those who prevented Dragica from setting up the armoured door, wanted to target her for the last time and their threats were realized”, said the Office for Kosovo's response to Belgrade.
The same stresses that Brussels and international missions in Kosovo will be announced for this incident. / REL
