In the detention order, close relatives include their spouse, partner/partner, parents, children, grandchildren, siblings (including only brothers and sisters from the mother or father), grandparents, groom, and bride, conveys Clencosova.tv.
According to this definition, all those above would be allowed to spend time with their relatives in the detention of Specialised Chambers, without even being monitored by Scheveningen staff, the international institution in which former KLA leaders are being held.
Special care has been devoted to organizing family visits on a simplified procedure.
Personal meetings between the detainee and his wife and the children of the detainees are realised at a suitable location within the detention facility where physical contact is allowed. The environment is out of sight and hearing of the detention officers.
The detention chief could impose restrictions on visits and communications, including time restrictions, based on the daily working plan of the detention facility and staff availability. The hour of visits could change if the detainees or visitors do not comply, the regulation said.
