Raised the American flag at KSF barracks in honour of US Independence Day

In honour of U.S. Independence Day, the American flag has been set up in the KSF barracks today.

That's how the Defense Minister, Armend Mehaj, announced.

He has said he has decided that in all KSF barracks the American flag will rise in memory and honour of all American nation men and women, who with great sacrifice and their historic decision changed fate.

The American “Velerates are naturally part of our state and citizens' identity, because the past, present and future of ours stand firm on the foundations of Freedom, Equality and Justice of July 4th”, he wrote on his social Facebook network.

Dear American friends,

Officials, military diplomats,

Dear citizens of my country,

Today, along with the 4th July Independence Day of the United States, I have made the decision that in all KSF barracks to raise the American flag in memory and honour of all the American nation's men and women, who with great sacrifice and their historic decision changed fate, not only of the American nation, but also of all other lyrician peoples in the world.

American values are naturally part of our state and citizens' identity because our past, present and future stand firm on the foundations of Freedom, Equality and July 4th Justice.

As defence minister and citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, I sincerely wish for all the men and women of the friendly country, the US, with whom, together, as a single body, we are traveling in the development and strengthening of the Republic of Kosovo.

Special thanks, too, to all the American Forces soldiers for the self - sacrificing service to preserve peace, security and stability in our country and around the world.

Also a special wish for all American brothers in arms with whom we served together in joint operations.
