The National Institute of Public Health has appealed to citizens to be vaccinated so that rigorous measures are not taken in the fall.
Through a post on the official page, the Institute said that the new wave from variant Delta will be passed with as few patients and fewer victims.
Try not to take rigorous measures in autumn! With vaccination, we will pass the new wave from Delta version with as much as sick and as few victims”, says the post.
The Institute has suggested that no vaccine used in Kosovo contains living viruses and that you can't be sick of COVIDD-19 from the vaccine.
No vaccines currently in use in Kosovo contain living viruses that cause COVID-19. That means you can't get sick with COVID-19 from the vaccine. Some are reluctant to be vaccinated because they are afraid of the side effects which so far in Kosovo have been minimal, but the benefits of protection from COVID-19 are many times greater”, said further in the IKSHPovina post.
