The President of the United States, Joe Biden, has warned that a major cyber attack on his country could lead to war. In this comment, he cited Russia and China as a threat to US national security.

I think we'll probably end up in war if we end up fighting a real war with a big shot of power, it's going to be due to a major cyber-insistance, the American president said during his speech to the American intelligence community on Tuesday.

He highlighted the growing number of cyber attacks on government agencies and private industry, which American officials have linked to Russia and China, writes Free Europe, broadcast the Express newspaper.

Cyber security has been placed at the top of the White House priority list following a series of attacks during the first six months in power of the Biden Administration.

At the Geneva summit in June with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Beden said the two leaders have discussed that 16 types of critical infrastructure be kept away from the borders of cyber attacks, including energy and water.
