Why does President Vuciq enthusiastically support visa liberalisation for Kosovo?

The president of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuciq, has made a statement that may seem strange to many Kosovo Albanians take into consideration previous positions against Kosovo independence. But what is its truth? Vuciq declared on TV last night that “Yes, enthusiastically and I wouldn't explain [...]

Vucinac Said last night on Happy TV. That “Yes, enthusiastically and I won't explain the reasons. ”

What, though, are the reasons for this supportive enthusiasm from Vuciq?

It is said that states that are opposing visa liberalisation for Kosovo are France, the Netherlands and Austria. In these countries, extreme right parties have strengthened over the past decade, but also the problem with immigration and concerns with political Islam.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti recently visited French President Emmanuel Macron but failed to make a pledge from him on the visa issue, Periscopi reports.

What a large part of Kosovo citizens do not know, however, is that Kosovo Serb citizens suffer with the visa regime.

Even if these Serb residents in Kosovo have Serbian passports, they are subject to the visa regime the same as Albanian residents in Kosovo. And, just like that, it may be the basic reason why Vuciq supports visa liberalisation for Kosovo, or at least why it is declared to support visa liberalisation for Kosovo. /Periscope
