President Osmani thanked Senator Ernst for her contribution to promoting Kosovo's citizenship and expressed great happiness that our two countries are deepening co-operation in many areas.

The support that the state of Iowa, the National Guard of this state, has given to the Kosovo Security Force is extraordinary. Thanks to your support, the KSF today is becoming an armed, professionally prepared force, ready to serve peace storage”, President Osmani said.

According to her, the partnership our two countries have built on common values and the shared commitment to democracy is steadily deepening and we expect it to expand in many areas.

Your soldiers saved our lives. 22 years later we see new opportunities to further deepen the partnership between our countries, investing in agriculture, education, economy and other areas”, President Osmani said.

President Osmani asked Senator Ernst to assist the US for Kosovo membership in NATO, because that is our strategic goal.

Senate Ernst, meanwhile, expressed happiness that it was returning to Kosovo and deepening co-operation between the two countries.

She also stressed that she feels extremely happy with the professional development of KSF and its transformation into force capable of serving peace in the region and the world.
