Politicians beat live on show, then agree (Video)

Two politicians from Moldova, Sergio Tofilat and Ghenadie Cosovan, shocked viewers with a clash during a television show.

Tofilat, a former adviser to President Maja Sandu, brought down Cosovan, a former deputy interior minister and seized him by the neck.

A video published in social media showed how Cosov initially remained motionless after the incident.

The situation allegedly deteriorated after Tofilat offended Cosov during a discussion of the political situation in Moldova. Then Cosov threw water on Tofilat's face.

Later, one photo was published on Facebook, where the two politicians were seen again standing calm next to each other and holding hands, but in the rear was a paramedic.

About a week and a half ago, Moldovans elected a new parliament in which Sandu's pro-Western party won an absolute majority.
