The director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Petar Petkov, will stay on Monday and Tuesday (12 July 13th) to visit Kosovo.

From the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore (MPJD) in Kosovo, they have said Petkovic has applied for allowing Kosovo to visit based on the agreement signed in 2014 in Brussels.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora (MPJD) has approved the request for permission to visit the Republic of Kosovo to Serbian official Petar Petkovic for the 12-13 July 2021 dates. The application is made based on the Agreement on Official Visits, signed in 2014 in Brussels”, the MPJD's response to Kosovas said.

The MPJD emphasises that Petkov is obliged to respect protocol and agenda, as well as to adhere to political advertising, promotional language and rhetoric against Kosovo.

The officer in question is obliged to respect protocol and agenda, while simultaneously refraining from political statements, promotional language and rhetoric against Kosovo”, the MPJD say of Kosova Press.

Any action against protocols will influence the MPJD to reject future demands from Serbia.

Any overstepping of these rules will influence the MPJD to reject the next requests from Serbia”, the MPJD's response concludes.

Petar Petkovic will participate in an academy organised at “Culture House”, on the occasion of marking the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the Zvecan municipality.
