A man who was first admitted to the Novi Grad hospital with a spinal damage was transported to Zagreb for further treatment.

According to further information, two people are in intensive care unit and their lives are in danger. They will be transferred to Zagreb today.

Some of the people who had minor injuries will leave the hospital today.

A driver was among the dead

One of the dead in the accident is one of two Kosovo license drivers, who was not driving when the accident occurred.

His son, Adorim Sylmataj, said his last goodbye with a Facebook message.

Ah, father, pain is too great, sorrow is too great. The day I accompanied you to the bus, I embraced you but not enough. God gave you paradise”, he wrote the son of the driver who died yesterday.

In the tragic case, Croatia's police have provided details through a statement.

The driver who was behind the wheel at the time of the accident told police he fell asleep for a moment.

Last night, Prime Minister Plenković and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti visited the injured at the General Hospital, Slavonski Brod.

Thereafter, they headed to the dorm, where fourteen people were located who were not injured in the accident.

As the local SBOnline portal has learned, they will remain today in Slavonski Brod.
