The Democratic Party of Kosovo has formalised Astrit Ademij's candidacy for head of the Peja municipality.

The success of Kosovo champions at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics did not go unnoticed even in the PDK's PDK campaign in Pec.

“Peja has awarded three Olympic gold medals to Kosovo and all Albanians. But, Peja lacks another gold medal -- a gold medal government -- the PDK government in this municipality. And with Astri, The PDK is ready to give this to Peja.”, Krasniqi concluded.

Krasniqi formalises Astrit Ademij's candidacy: The time has come for a new vision for Peja and PDK.

Pec, July 30th, 2021 BiH Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has today formalised Astrit Ademij's candidacy for mayor of the Peja municipality.

Krasniqi, saying he is honored to be found in Pec, the city of Olympic champions, stressed that he is proud that 10 years ago as Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, he had supported and believed in the dream of Peja champions.

“PDK and Peja have been known for over 20 years. We have had mutual respect, kindness, commitment, and commitment to postpone hard work together. But for the past 20 years, we have not yet put into existence the potential that we can build together. So the time has come for this potential to come into existence. The moment has come for a new vision for Peja and PDK.”, he said.

Krasniqi said Astrit Ademiaj will be the proper chairman for Pec to start implementing projects, to transform Pec into a city of economic, tourist, cultural and sports development.

The candidate PDK for head of the Peja municipality, Astrit Ademij thanked Chairman Krasniqi and PDK structures in Pec for the support and confidence given.

“How he governed The PDK at the local level and what model represents is enough to see the municipality of Ferizaj and Drensas currently, as well as the Prizren municipality and other municipalities earlier. Peja needs to be economic and competitive in the free market because she stands out for intellectuals and businesspeople among the most successful in Kosovo. ”, Ademiaj said.

While PDK Branch Chairman in Pec Xhavit Haliti said that they are all working for Peja to offer a government taken with new people who have clear vision of development and employment.

“The PDK is ready for victory in Peje, and for that we are working daily. We have offered Peja the best candidate, such as Astrit Ademiaj, a man prepared to lead with the Pec municipality”, Haliti said.
