Osmani during the meeting stressed that Clark symbolises the democratic world's determination to defend people's lives.

“You symbolize the democratic world's determination to stand up for human lives, which were promised only because they belonged to another ethnicity”, said President Osmani.

Kosovo President Dr. Vjosa Osmani met with General Wesley K. Clark, who in 1999 led NATO's air campaign against the military forces of the Milosevic regime.

The president expressed satisfaction in welcoming Kosovo's friend.

“You symbolize the democratic world's determination to stand up for human lives, which were promised only because they belonged to another ethnicity”, said President Osmani.

According to her, General Clark enjoys the eternal gratitude of the people of Kosovo.

The “will never be enough to reiterate our gratitude for what you did for Kosovo in the most difficult moments of its history”, she said.

Your assessment of Kosovo should continue to be heard worldwide”, President Osmani said.

On the other hand, General Clark expressed the satisfaction he is returning to Kosovo, where hospitality and gratitude for him are permanent.

“This country was created thanks to your rebellious spirit and the insistence of the citizens of this country to gain freedom”, General Clark said.

He reiterated his readiness to continue supporting Kosovo even so far.
