“Der Spiegel” has asked Osman if the time has come for Kosovo to be emancipated by the United States, at a time when “President Thaci, often drilled as lily on American laps, is in prison at The Hague. ”
Osmani has responded by saying no one should call Thaci such, saying he has been prime minister and president at historic times.
It has declared that reports with the US do not depend on political personnel.
And despite all the political differences we might have had with Thaci, no one should call it American ézagar. Thaci has been prime minister and president in historic times. As for relations with the US: they do not depend on political leaders. They are a special bond that keeps us together. We do not forget the role of Americans in Kosovo in the 1990s”, Osmani has said of German prestige.
