She has said that there are still no known causes of poisoning in Decani and that other residents of villages with another water source have been poisoned.

“As the Government of Kosovo, we are aware of the situation ruling in Decani. The mayor informed us about the current situation. He informed us that something that began to look like a virus and that has already been distributed as a local symptom. What was initially thought to be a microb in the water was currently not confirmed,” stated Mrs. Sculves.

Also present at the meeting was Armend Mehaj, the minister of defence.
