Official: Vjosa list splits into two parts in Ferizaj City

List “Gux” founded by Vjosa Osmani is eventually split in half in the Ferizaj municipality. The dissatisfaction of some initiative officials in Ferizaj prompted this party to apply for certificates for October local elections, separated from party discontentes.

Even the latter have already applied for certificate to the CEC, but with a modification of the subject's name.

The civic initiative “We Guxim”, led by Balton Drgugut, has recently applied for certificate of the municipality's elections in Ferizaj.

CEC spokesman Valmir Elez confirmed this.

He said six political subjects have applied so far for participating in the elections.

We have so far accepted 6 applications of political subjects, out of them 3 civic initiatives, 1 political party and 2 independent candidates. Subjects that have applied until July 15, 2021 are these: 1. The political party Civic Movement Vatra has applied for confirmation in the Municipal Speaker's elections and for the Municipal Assembly in Gjilan; 2. Independent candidate Kastriot Bush has applied for certificate for Comune Mayor in Kacanik; 3. Civic Initiative List Guxo has applied for certificate in the Municipal Assembly elections in Ferizaj; 4. The Civic Initiative We Guxim has applied for confirmation in the Municipal Assembly elections in Ferizaj; 5. Independent candidate Agim Djelic has applied for certificates in the Municipal Assembly elections in Fushe Kosovo; and 6. Civic Initiative Together for Istog has applied for confirmation in the Municipal Mayor's elections and the Municipal Assembly in Istog;”, he has told Express.

This period for application for participation in the election, according to Elez, ends on 16 August.

“is continuing the period of application of political subjects to be certified for participation in the October 17th local elections, as well as for handing over the list with the names of candidates for the Comune head or Communist countries. This period ends on August 16,”, he declared further.

The entire divide inside the list “Gux” came after the installation of the U.d. The chairman's Donika Grovalla, that in local elections, they will compete on the joint list with Vetevendosje Movement.

Former List Co-ordinator Guxon in Ferizaj, currently head of the civic initiative “We dare”, Balton Dorgiti the day before declared they would go only to local elections and not to Vetevendosje, as Donika Grovalla said.

While Gervalla, who currently heads the initiative, has demanded that the decision on going to local elections be respected along with Vetevendosje Movement.
