Former Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa has talked about the agreement signed in 2015 by him with Serbia for the Association of Communities with the Serbian Majority.
Mustafa in an answer to the script for InDoks also commented on Albin Kurti's approach to this subject.
He has indicated that Kurti's Vetevendosje should understand that they are no longer in opposition. They will even be forced into action.
Mr. Kurti and VV have rejected the Zajednica agreement by all means. They are now in a position, not in the opposition, in a completely different role and with other responsibilities. The statements don't work, they'll be forced to act, so the word is theirs, not mine.”, the former prime minister said.
Mustafa further said the law on the Commission Association Agreement with the Serb Majority found when he became prime minister, so even if he did not like him, as prime minister has worked to enforce the law.
“Association is a form of co-operation of Serb majority municipalities on local government issues. This unusual association because it forms on ethnic grounds. And even though the Constitutional Court has indicated, this association should be like the existing association, in fact it is not. The agreement ratified with the Law, says this association will have full control in the field of education, health, local development. The existing association does not have that competence. Meanwhile, the association does not have executive power and is not the third power, as it was trumpeted”, he stressed.
