Activists fear that Yidirs Ayshan will be extradited to China and believe his arrest is politically motivated as part of the vast Chinese campaign to track dissidents outside its borders, the Guardian reports, translated Periscopi in Albanian.
Morocco's national security directive has said during Tuesday that a Chinese citizen was arrested after landing at Mohammed V International Airport in Kasablanka on 20 July, after arriving from Istanbul.

“ [He] was subject to the red announcement coming from Interpol due to suspicions that he belongs to an organisation on the list of terrorist organisations,” says the directive.
This red announcement was issued at China's request.
Aishan, 33, a 33-year-old computer engineer, has been living in Turkey since 2012, where he was designing and doing political activities.
After continuing arrests in Turkey, Aishan had fled to Kasablanka on the 19 July evening.
Interpol and the Chinese embassy in Morocco had not responded immediately to the request to comment on the arrest. /Periscope
