A 28-year-old who spent the last seven months looking for her missing husband was kidnapped from her house and killed in northern Mexico last week. Aranza Ramos was found dead by authorities in Guaymas, Sonora, last Tuesday.
According to local media, a group of armed men forcibly took Ramos from her home at about 10 o'clock in the local Ortiz district. The police discovered her lifeless body on a sidewalk, 1 and a half hours later.
The 28-year-old had created two groups of volunteers to search for her husband, Brian Celaya, who disappeared on December 6, 2020.
Just hours before she was kidnapped, Ramos posted on Facebook an image of her missing husband and asked for help in finding him.
