“Minister Murati said supplements for doctors have been halted because they no longer have work”

The president of the Federation of Kosovo Health Unions, Blerim Syla, has said all health personnel have been offended at the Kosovo Government meeting, as additions have not been continued.

Syla has stressed that they do not know why the additions are not continuing.

“Opinion knows that for 23 months, health workers have faced an unusual situation. As chairman of the union and union, we have chosen social dialogue from April 24th of this year, every week we have addressed letters with requests to the president, to the prime minister, to the head of the Assembly, to all parliamentary groups, as well as to all of the highest instances to continue the additions on our salaries. This is guaranteed under Article 20 of the Anti-COVID Law that was approved in December of last year”.

This government made the first violations at the beginning of the year, they have halved doctors' additions, with a decision for two months we have no additional pay. What's worse isn't probably in monetary value, it's the insult and denigration that's being done to health workers. Today, we have not been able to communicate in any form, at least tell us why these additions are not giving it to us. This is a personal response and a full responsibility”.

Syla has declared that since Arben Vitita is at the helm of the Health Ministry they have had only one meeting with her.

We haven't had meetings, as health workers, just one meeting we've had with Minister Vitita, what it looks like they don't have time to meet with us”

The first of the health unions has also pressed charges against Finance Minister Hekuran Murati, who has called him an Infantil.

“We're in the pandemic, we promise we won't protest the cause of pandemic. But at the same time I asked them to declare the pandemic finished, this after Mr. Iron Murati has said that additions to doctors are stopped because they have no work left. This is not a statement from a minister, but an infantil, I have information for the minister's statement according to some of my sources, quite safe”.

This is not a minister's statement, this is an infantil statement. I don't know if they're seeing who started leading this country, that's too much. I have received messages from health workers because they say we are not making stronger radical reactions”, Syla has said. /Kankosova/
