Milena Harito, former minister of innovation and public administration, has discovered what it was like to work on a floor with Prime Minister Edi Rama.
In an interview in RTSH, she has talked about the distant family connection she has with Prime Minister Edi Rama, stressing that they are eighth cousins. Harito has declared that at the beginning of his work, Rama has done it twice to cry.
Mrs. Harito, can you tell me the hardest and best moment you've had with Eddie Rama in those four years?
Better honestly, it looks like wooden, but the best memories are the things I wanted to do. I had other options but I wanted to do some things here.
You wanted to change Albania?
No. Changing Albania is a very big word. Albania changes it, me, others in what you do. I had some ideas and Edi Rama was the right man with the right power and vision for those things to be done. The times when difficulties were overcome and things moved ahead were moments of great satisfaction that were worthwhile.
The most important one. So the hardest moment?
I thought you forgot. He made me cry a couple of times at first.
Did you cry too much?
No. I don't cry much because I'm from Wunoi, but I cried.
And Rama was so upset that you cried!
That was the point. When I think about those are the moments he was right. Not in the sense of the method but in the essence because you're being harassed by being stabbed in your teeth.
Was the case Milena Harito to do this?
He has no intention of dealing with each other's feelings. There are other problems.
That you were the Minister of State and that office was close.
Same floor.
It was worse.
His toilet was worse.
How have four years been as minister? Wasn't working with Eddie Rama?
It was absolutely passionate. I seem to be a hard-working career because I'm a man who loves work. But as much as I worked in that period as Minister in the Rama government I have never worked in my life.
Is that what Rama did to you again?
Stay very calm. You and the Socialist Party. I declare that's not going to happen. I'm not gonna be the minister, and this is the safest thing in the world.
With that you said a bottle of vinegar was opened up in the SP. Don't joke that Edi Rama gets up in the morning and says Milena Harito will be the minister what will you tell him?
I'll tell him I have my life. That's it.
So how were four years working with Eddie Rama?
Superpasions. Very interesting. I can say it's very hard working with Eddie Rama.
In a positive or negative way?
I would say yes, but...
I mean, in Albanian, it takes your soul?
Yeah. Absolutely in all forms. I don't know. He said French. When I went back to Paris's “Orang”, which has a 40 billion-euro annual tour, one of my wonders was when the bomb was going to explode and the bomb didn't pop. I waited for the challenge but no. While I was minister in Albania, work was very busy and tense.
What about the scheme?
I sometimes felt as if I had been immersed in a poison pot, and I sometimes had my head out to breathe.
Rudina Sezeri has said Edi Rama is not the perfect prime minister, but Albania is also very hard to navigate. Do you agree with that definition?
Yeah, it's very accurate.
Miss Harito, can you explain specifically what your cousin was and Eddie Rama?
Eight cousins.
How in secret?
Do you know the eighth cousins?
I might even know them.
Then there's a fact. Spiro Koleka, member of the Political Bureau, had a passion for genealogy and since he had the opportunity to create the family tree and leave it to the children. Our families' bodies are united in 1740.
What were you in that year?
Sister and brother, and then branch branches have come to me and Rama.
Berisha said you were cousins?
He did this and opened it. He said it and became a legend. The doctor's great that he taped it to me.
How did you analyze the way opposition Lulzim Basha does?
Basha has very serious problems. I remember when I was the minister who received information that he had not received from a university degree. I wrote a Facebook status that Lulzim Basha had to make public her diploma. But it makes me straight block. That was the roof. Instead of being transparent, you raise your career on the basis of a lie.
What does that mean?
To me Lulzim Basha is Eddie Rama's chief editor. As long as Lulzim Basha is chairman of the DP, Edi Rama will be prime minister.
