Besim Aliu from the Kosovo Hydrometeorology Institute has said temperatures recorded in June of this year are much higher since 2001.
He said that last month's temperatures have reached as much as 35.6, which, according to him, temperatures like these in past years have reigned in July and August.
Aliu at “Ora Seven in Kosova” said that from 20 June to 30 June, temperatures have reached over 30 degrees Celsius.
IHMK weather predictor through a previously introduced graphic has explained that even as far as temperatures have reached in June that turns out to be the hottest.
As for the country's rainfall during these months, Aliu has shown that there was no rainfall in May, while Podujevo and Prizren are the cities that have registered the most in June, while during this period there was less rain in Yunik.
Eventually, weather forecasters have urged citizens to avoid exposure to high temperatures between 10:00 and 5: 00 p.m.
