Memli Krasniqi has been elected president of the Democratic Party of Kosovo today, by an open vote. He was the only candidate for the position.
Krasniqi has received the confidence of most delegates to lead with the PDK for the next four years. Memli Krasniqi was elected at the helm of the PDK with 469 votes for, seven against.
Krasniqi was born in Mitrovica on January 25th 1980, where he conducted elementary school “Hasan Pristina”.
Middle school he conducted at the “Jvdet Doda” high school in Pristina, as he completed his studies on Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Pristina philosophical Faculty.
Krasniqi has finished training in International Relations at the London School for Economy and Political Science (LSE).
In 1999 the 2000s has worked as a journalist for the American news agency Associated Press, while in 2002 he was Director of Public Relations at the Kosovo Telemedicine Centre.
For many years he has been involved in music and has worked on various musical projects, mainly as text-scriptors and as a member of the “Ritming Road”.
The political path began in 2004.
