MP The PDK, Mergim Lushtaku, has praised it as illegal -- the decision of Interior Minister Jelal Svecla for continuing worthiness for six months of expired identification.

He says this decision is a violation of the provisions of the Law on Identification.

The continuation of the validity of expired IDs should be abolished as soon as possible so that the irreparable consequences caused along creation, changing or eliminating judicial relations that citizens place on the basis of expired identifications.

The fact that this law stipulates fines because of the worthlessness of identification, confirms the importance of not allowing situations to harm citizens and law institutions, because judicial security is both the principle and the purpose of laws to be implemented, not interpreted according to the desire and for political purposes”, has written Lushtaku in a Facebook post.
