In both cases, up to six passengers can rise from their seats to experience several light minutes and see Earth's views from space.
When can you go to Space?
Virginia Galactic has said regular commercial flights will begin in 2022, after conducting two more tests. The waiting list is relatively long, as 600 tickets have been sold so far, the AFP news agency broadcast.
But the company anticipates conducting about 400 flights a year.
Blue Origin plans two other flights this year, the first in September and the other “ ” next year.
Another way to go into space is through television. An upcoming TV show, Space Hero, has said it plans to send the winner of the competitions to the International Space Station in 2023.
How much will the trip cost?
The first tickets sold by Virgin Galactic have the price of between $200 thousand and $250,000 each, but the company has warned that the price in the future could increase.
Blue Origin didn't reveal any prizes.
Are the requirements for physical condition severe?
No. Everyone is required to have a normal physical condition. The training of Virgin Galactic Company lasts only five days.
Blue Origin promises to teach everyone everything needs <x0... a day before launching”.
On the first team flight of the Blue Origin Company in Space, part of the team was the aviation pioneer Wally Funk, 82-year-old who has now become the oldest astronaut ever to make such a flight.
Among the company's demands for flying are the climb of seven pairs of stairs within 90 seconds, as well as for the body condition to be between 152 inches [152 cm] long and 50 kilograms [50 kg] or 193cm and about 100 kilograms.
What about SpaceX?
Elon Musk's company is also entering the space tourism game, but its plans are for longer travel. The cost of travel is also expected to be astronomical to tens of millions of dollars.
American billionaire Jared Isaacman has launched a mission called Inspiration4, which includes him, along with three other passengers around the Earth, on the journey believed to be realised through a SpaceX company missile.
Then, in January 2022, the three businessmen will travel to the International Space Station with an experienced astronaut. Mission, titled Ax-1, is being organised by the Axiom Space Company, which signed agreements with Spacex Company on the next three flights.
The Musk billionaire's company is planning to travel into orbit with four people, organised by the Space Developments company, the same company that has organised the flight of Japanese billionaire Yusuf Maezawa to the International Space Station in December, with a Russian spacecraft Soyuz.
Maezawa is also expected to make a trip to the moon in 2023, via a space shuttle that is still under way by SpaceX Company.
He has invited eight members from the public to join, but the application period is now over. / REL
